Being a Chesapeake native, Lindsey Bateman's journey to opening Grooming Palace LLC started in local shelters and pet stores. She grew up locally in Deep Creek and attended all three of their public schools. Lindsey's love for animals started when she was young. Ever since her first exciting day in a professional shop, Lindsey knew this was the field for her to express her artistic animal loving characteristics. At a young age she started saving every penny she made in order to fulfill her dreams of one day having her own professional pet salon. Her hobbies include playing piano, violin and cello among many other creative forms of art. She also has 4 beloved pups at home and the shop, Panda (Pandora) the Australian Shepherd, Wallace the Pitbull Terrier, Dahlia (Tabby Cat), and Dandy (Tabby Cat). She also enjoys keeping her 120 gallon fish tank with African Cichlid fish in the lobby of Grooming Palace.
